ZIRA, a product-oriented IT company, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Tuzla have signed a cooperation protocol - the agreement that includes mutual advisory and research activities, and the promotion of open innovation models.
The round table discussion on "Product IT companies and the application of open innovation models” held after the signing of the protocol, featured insightful contributions from experts in academia and industry.
ZIRA has been focused on developing its own products for over 25 years, and the entire software product development cycle, from conceptualization to design and implementation, takes place in-house. The company advocates for and lives the model of open innovation, which entails a strong innovation framework throughout society, ensuring external sources of knowledge in all phases of the innovation system, and synergy of different sources, with a special emphasis on the academic community.
The collaboration between ZIRA and FET is a natural fit as FET places a particular emphasis on innovative approaches, and together they aim to create new insights and ideas for the betterment of society.
