Position Overview:
As a Senior Platform and Infrastructure Engineer, you will autonomously tackle complex system support tasks and enhance our internal infrastructure. Leveraging your expertise in automation and system administration, you will work closely with support and development teams to optimize our environments and ensure seamless operation.

Job requirements


Key responsibilities: 

  • Conduct technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development and support teams.
  • Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing server environments.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, collaborating with developers to implement solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams and operational procedures.
  • Optimize the company’s computing architecture and implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Build tools to reduce errors and enhance the customer experience.
  • Identify automation needs and implement solutions within internal infrastructure and client environments.


    • Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Work experience (5+ years) as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
    • Strong understanding of operating systems (process, thread management, virtual memory, file systems, networking).
    • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Unix-based environments (mandatory).
    • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
    • Experience in administering and tuning application stacks (e.g., Docker, REST services, Nginx, Apache, Java, HAproxy, Postgres, Oracle, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
    • Proficiency in leveraging CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) for automating testing and deployment.
    • Solid scripting skills in BASH and/or Python.
    • General understanding of IP routing and troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with Microservices architecture and DevOps practices.
    • Cloud experience, preferably with AWS or GCP, is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving attitude and a collaborative team spirit.
