As a Business Development Representative, you will work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and generate qualified prospects through various methods, including cold emailing, cold calling, social selling, and networking. You will collaborate with “Lead generation agencies” and other external partners to generate qualified leads on an annual basis or in preparation for specific events and conferences. You will maintain and regularly update a Lead List using the ZIRA template for proper follow-up and reporting, sharing updates during sales standups. Additionally, you will handle incoming requests for ZIRA products and services, including RFx submissions or other forms of inquiries (e.g., email, verbal requests, or through the ZIRA website). You will analyze these requests, utilize the Checklist template to ensure completeness, and compile a comprehensive ZIRA response using the provided technical, sales, and documentation inputs, submitting them promptly to the relevant prospects or customers. Your role includes ensuring that every request or proposal is accurately addressed and that all commercial or technical responses are timely and complete. You will also compile and regularly update an Opportunity List using the ZIRA template for continuous monitoring and reporting. In collaboration with the Product and Sales teams, you may also be tasked with organizing meetings or conference calls, conducting follow-ups on sales status or offering processes, or researching relevant information on potential clients or competitors to support sales activities. All tasks should be performed efficiently and promptly to maintain the high standards expected by ZIRA.
Job requirements
• Develop and maintain Lead generation and Lead qualification process.
• Review and analyze incoming requests from prospects and existing customers.
• Engage with leads, prospects, and customers via email or cold calls to gather requests for ZIRA products and services and to prepare and submit relevant technical and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate closely with ZIRA Product and Sales teams.
• Prepare and maintain technical and commercial proposals using the ZIRA template, including all necessary correspondence for submission to prospects or customers.
• Compile, update, and maintain the Lead and Opportunity lists using the ZIRA template.
• Regularly present and communicate updates on the Opportunity and Lead lists in sales stand-ups.
• Ensure timely responses to all inquiries from prospects and customers.
• Maintain prompt communication with relevant lead generation entities, persons, or agencies.
• Identify and utilize available tools and media to generate and qualify new leads.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the ZIRA portfolio and collaterals for effective lead generation and qualification.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the ZIRA portfolio and collaterals to respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from prospects and customers, in collaboration with the Product and Sales teams.
Required skills and certificates:
- 2+ years in the same or similar role or profession
- University degree in Economics, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other foreign languages is highly valued
Additional requirements:
- Preference will be given to candidates holding EU citizenship
- Experience in the telecommunications (Telco) sector
- Strong communication skills, self-driven, and a team player
