As a Solution Architect at ZIRA, you will define and govern end-to-end technical architecture across products, domains, and customer deployments. You will translate business strategy, product roadmaps, and non-functional requirements into scalable, secure, and future-proof architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long-term product vision.

You will provide architectural leadership across projects, guide Senior Solution Designers, validate solution designs, and ensure consistency across systems, integrations, data, and the overall technology stack. Acting as the final architectural authority for cross-project decisions, you will ensure delivered solutions remain aligned with approved architectural principles.

Architectural design & strategy

• Design end-to-end solutions balancing functional and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, high availability)

• Define and maintain architectural principles, standards, and guidelines across integration, data, security, scalability, availability, and performance

• Ensure architectural consistency across projects, products, and customer deployments

• Define high-level system architectures, including components, interfaces, and data flows

• Drive long-term product sustainability by minimizing unnecessary customer-specific customizations

• Apply architecture concepts related to scalability, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and performance optimization

• Design cloud and deployment architectures across on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments

Stakeholder collaboration & requirements engineering

• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders (Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, Infrastructure teams, and peer Architects)

• Translate business needs and technical constraints into clear architectural designs and specifications

• Ensure seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Architectural governance

• Govern architectural compliance and ensure implementations follow approved architectural blueprints

• Establish and enforce enterprise-wide architectural standards and patterns

• Review, validate, and approve solution designs across products and projects

• Assess and approve architectural changes, ensuring alignment with established standards

• Conduct architectural compliance reviews and design validations

• Act as the final architectural authority for cross-product and cross-project design decisions

Technology evaluation & risk management

• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools aligned with architectural strategy

• Identify architectural risks related to technology choices, integration complexity, scalability, and performance, and define mitigation strategies

• Drive continuous improvement of architectures, platforms, and governance processes

Required skills

• 8+ years of experience in the same or similar roles and/or in the profession

• Deep expertise in scalability, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and performance engineering

• Strong experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud architectures, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), cloud-native architectures, and AI/ML-ready platforms

• Expertise in API Management, event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka), ESB, and message brokers

• Strong familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open APIs)

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and commitment to software quality, standards, and maintainability

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Fluent in English

• Willingness to travel (the position may require business travel)
