Join our team as a Resource Operation Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organized Resource Operation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage the allocation and deallocation of IT human resources, optimize team capacity, support recruitment and selection processes, and ensure the right skills are matched to the right projects at the right time. You will play a key role in strategic workforce planning and serve as a bridge between delivery, HR, and management. 

Job requirements

Key responsibilities  

  • Manage internal IT human resources: plan, allocate, and deallocate team members based on project and activity needs, as well as overall capacity. 

  • Collaborate with team leads, project managers, and department heads to anticipate and prepare for future resource requirements. 

  • Support recruitment efforts by identifying talent gaps, working with the HR department on candidate profiles, and participating in the selection process. 

  • Maintain a skills matrix to track employees’ capabilities, availability, and training needs. 

  • Proactively suggest career development opportunities, including training and upskilling plans aligned with company goals. 

  • Generate regular reports on resource utilization, availability forecasts, and potential risks. 

  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes related to staffing and workforce management. 

  • Support teams in structuring their planning using agile methodologies and assisting with their organizational needs. 

 

Required skills: 

  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions. 

  • Effective time and priority management, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. 

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to structure and coordinate ongoing activities across multiple teams. 

  • Proactive mindset with self-initiative and a solution-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities. 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and effectively with various stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. 

  • Basic experience with tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and task/project management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). 

  • Understanding of project management methodologies—especially Agile (Scrum, Kanban)—with the ability to support teams in planning and resource coordination. 

  • A positive attitude, adaptability to change, and a strong drive for personal and professional development. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 

 

Preferred qualifications  

  • Experience in IT resource planning, workforce optimization, or staffing coordination roles. 

  • Familiarity with HR tools, ERP systems, or resource management platforms. 

  • Background in technical recruitment or IT team management. 

  • Knowledge of career pathing, performance management, and employee engagement best practices. 

  • Previous experience in fast-paced, project-oriented environments—preferably within the tech industry.
